Today’s post has three different features: a call for healing for Japan, announcing the launch of my new e-book, a special greeting.
Let’s get started
Today I send out a call for prayers and healing for Japan following the earthquake and tsunami there.
I ask all USS readers to focus their thoughts this coming week on the North East part of Japan which was the worst hit, including the cities of Kamaishi and Rikuzentakata, which were badly hit by tidal waves, as well as the airport at Sendai. Also around the capital Tokyo. Please send special calming thoughts to Fukushima, where an explosion occurred this morning at the nuclear power plant, as well as to the city of Ichihara where a fire at the oil refinery is raging. Also in the port city of Minamisanriku over 9 thousand people are reported missing.
Send loving thoughts, prayers, or whatever you do. And thank you.
I don’t presume to tell you how to do this but a few tips: don’t focus on the negative aspects of the quake, i.e. those pictures we see on our television screens. Picture people happy and going about their life in a normal fashion (remember those beautiful smiling Japanese faces). Remember to give gratitude when you’re finished (for the healing).

E-book Launch
As I mentioned a few times before I’ve been putting the final touches to an e-book. This has been a long time in gestation! Now, I’m happy to announce it’s ready and will be available on the USS in a few days. It’s called Birthing the New Consciousness and covers such items as healing, the nature of personal reality, and much more. The contents are:
Chapter # 1 You are the Light
Talks about how we manifested a life in the first place, the origin of things, and how by thinking about things (not the things themselves) we came to make false assumptions about the nature of reality. In short, we came to believe we were a subject of the world, not a co-creator of it.
Chapter # 2 We are what we Believe
These false assumptions then lead to some very serious limiting beliefs which we still carry to this day. This chapter discusses how to uncover these beliefs and then get rid of them.
Chapter # 3 The Pastscape
Time has always fascinated human beings. It fascinates me too. It appears that we are moving forwards. We see ourselves and those around us growing old, and this seems to confirm our assumptions about time. We often wish we could go back to our childhood to relive happy days, or to a time when we did something stupid, and undo it, so that we could make our lives right again. But we do not understand the nature of time at all; there is neither such a thing as the past nor the future, only an ever-present present. When we truly understand this everything changes.
Chapter # 4 The Shadow Self
There are parts of ourselves that became so hurt that we want to deny them, or we appear to separate from them. These become the shadow self. But just as your shadow always follows you around, so too can we never actually separate from ourselves. Only by reintegrating with the part of ourselves which we denied will we find peace.
Chapter # 5 Happiness: your natural state
When we practice being in the state of happiness we change our mood, the chemical imbalance in our body, and even our DNA. When we remain in this state for prolonged periods of time these changes become permanent. We literally become ‘new people’.
Chapter # 6 Into Wholeness
In the final chapter we look at how our thoughts create our reality, but not in the way you’ve been told before. There is a lot of ‘new age’ material out there which does not understand this fully. We talk about attraction, (not Law of attraction!) and how that created you in the first place; what does compensation thinking mean? If you’re doing this you may be blocking your good from manifesting. We introduce the idea of the ‘background mural’, crucial if you are to understand the nature of your thoughts . . . the nature of creation . . . the nature of your reality.
And much, much more.
The only person that can change you is you. This book teaches you how you can change your present state by changing, or rather, raising your consciousness to a higher level. Sometimes when we’re at street level the traffic can be a bit heavy, we can feel a bit overwhelmed. But go on to the roof level, way up on the top floor, stand there and look out over the city, look far away, see the edges of the ocean in the far distant. Don’t things look different here? You can think, you can breathe the air. Suddenly you can find more solutions. ‘Birthing’ will open you to seeing your life in a new way, how you came to be here, who you really are. It will help you access new states within you where, if you so choose, you can radically transform your life. It will, in short, bring you up onto that rooftop.

It’s that time of year again when we Irish celebrate, and for one day everyone in the world is entitled to be Irish and celebrate with us. Wherever you are may I extend a very happy St. Patrick’s day to you and yours. And if you’re missing someone at this time, just know it’s okay to miss them, and I send you love and healing.
